What breed are they?

Sorry I dont have pics yet. I just got blessed with 2 chickens. They are in a small crate at the moment, and my older brother is putting together a pen/coop.

They are young still maybe a few months. The guy who gave them to my brother thinks they are both roosters, but then again he also said they are "blue mottled" something.. they are barred, not mottled.

They have a small single comb. I looked at pics of various chickens and noticed that in some breeds even the hens seem to have a small comb, while the rooster is more obvious. One of them seems to have a little more tail plumage developing than the other does, which makes me wonder if they are both roosters or not?

They have bare feet.

Until I can get some pics.. any ideas on breeds they might be?

Barred? There are MANY breeds with Barred types.

Pictures, of course, would be useful... May just want to wait to ask when you get some.
