What breed chickens do I have? And I think one may be a rooster?? Help!

Start looking around 5-6 months old for eggs. You got them in February, they'll be 6 months old in August... still warm enough, and long enough days, they will start laying around then. In the fall, they'll go through their first real molt, and settle in for the shorter winter days, and then they'll likely slow down on the laying, till the days start getting longer again.

thanks. I plan on it. We have 5 females so I am thinking we will be getting around that many a day give or take an egg or so. That's actually the main reason we wanted chickens was to eat the eggs. Thanks again

Thanks I was looking at breeds and across the Black sex link chickens and it kind of looks like that. And maybe leghorns as far the white ones go but I was thinking white rocks for sure! Thanks guys and I was afraid it was a rooster now I have to find some way to separate it so I can eat the eggs and not have them fertilized!!!
Even if your eggs are fertilized doesn't mean you can't eat them!!! As long as one of your hens doesn't incubate it, it's perfectly fine. It doesn't taste weird, and you won't be able to tell the difference.
