Our
TSC had both the Tetra Tints AND the Leghorns, I'm clueless.
I got the ones marked as New Hampshire Reds, pullets, red sex links. They said that the big one might be a Gold Comet because they had combined the prior weeks batch with the new batch. So I got 12 from that bin.
Then a week or so later, they got in a batch of Gold Comets and I got six of those.
Now I'm waiting for 2 months then comparing pictures to see what I really have! But they did highlight on the signs what the actual breed was supposed to be in the bin, so I am hopeful!
I weighed them and the oldest is 7.5 oz, the next lot is 4.5-5 ounces, and the new ones are 2.5-3 ounces. They are ALL trying their wings. The youngest can get up on the edge of the box and the middle ones pops over the edge into the next box. So I got a bigger box and split them up 9 and 9 and put the 3 smallest of the the middle size in with the newest ones. BUT they decided to REARRANGE themselves and there are now 5 mediums in with the 6 little ones and 6 mediums and the big one in the other!FLAP FLAP!
No idea how old they are when
TSC gets them in. Anyone know?
Thanks.
