what breed could they be?

Red pullets at my location were a mix of breeds. They had barred rocks and buff orpingtons in that bin. In the regular pullet bin they had black australorps and these chicks.
 
Amberlinks are crossbred birds, and the hen chicks are yellow, the adult hen plumage is white, and will often have smudges of red at the ends of some feathers. Male chick plumage is yellow gold. Those could very well be amberlinks, they do not look like leghorns to me.
