What breed do I have?

Well, the top one is decidedly not cochin - can't see the legs/feet of the bottom baby very well, but if they are bare then you can rule out cochin on that one too.

I have no idea on the first chick's breed, but I agree with Ol Grey Mare. It looks like neither bird is a cochin, as cochins, by definition, have feathers on their legs.

The second chick appears to be an easter egger, in my opinion...

I told my husband that I didn't think they were cochin because of the feet but wasn't 100% sure since we're new to raising chicks. Is there any way to tell that they're actually bantams this early?

We got 6 assorted bantams at TSC. We ID'd the feather-footed as cochins, so that's likely not what you have. The lower one looks like our smallest of the bantams, which is clean-legged and seems to be an Old English Game Bantam or OEGB. I don't really see a muff/beard so I think Easter Egger is out. Look up black-breasted red OEGB and compare to yours.
