What breed do I need to get for my DD???

I don't think it's a breed question as much as how you rear them. Chicks handled a lot as they grow up will naturally be tame.

The sussex are very calm, at least mine are. Not sure if a 3yo could carry them easily full grown though, they are pretty, well, chunky.
