About 9 weeks old. Fuzzy zoomed in picture with bad coloring doesn't do justice to the beautiful colors and red tones on the wings. Please also confirm it's a "he". We know dad was a crested cream legbar. I don't know what mom was. Just wondered if it was possible to tell what breed mom was based on his color and pattern.

Also, we have another one just like this one only it has a straight comb. Any ideas on that one? He is in the 3rd picture.

Out of curiosity, what does he look like now?

You know by the person who you bought the eggs from. They can guess which. But it won’t be 100% accurate.

Ask the person that you got him from what breeds they have. I was gonna say it could be be a cuckoo maran or barred rock hen, but since the roo its a CCLB, then it could be anything.
