Hi and thank you. I believe Ive got , 3 premium brahmas, 3 Rhode Island red and 6 orpington , I was supposed to get 3 jerseys but tractor supply screwed up.

Here's my ladies , do you think I should make both perches the same height?
I started using PDz granules in the poop table, works great.

You've got a really nice setup. Your chickens will love it. Looks like you have Buff Brahmas which I have as well. They are nice and docile hens and the six month old Brahmas have already outgrown my almost six year old Buff Orpingtons.

I had two roost bars at the same height, but the chickens always preferred the one closest to the wall. I changed the heights and added a bar so the Buff Orpingtons could more easily access the upper bars in their mature years. But they all want to sleep on the highest bars.

I would extend the poop board all the way to the pop door wall, remove the lower perch and put a new perch centered on the poop board with a support at the middle of the span.
The roost on the right side of my coop is 10' long and you can see the support I put under it mid-span.
