What breed do you think this is

I have a couple of these and there barring looks totally different from the barred rock pullets I have what breed do you think this TSC special is.

I’ve heard cuckoo described as “smudgy barred”, so maybe Cuckoo Marans?

I thought about that but ruled it out because they have yellow feet and legs.

might be a cockerell barred rock since cockerells have wider white sections in the barring

That pattern looks very similar to my Cuckoo Maran, so maybe that's what you have...

I would think i would see combs and wattles by now they are 8-9 weeks old and my other cockerels have bright red combs and wattles

Does yours have yellow or white legs? because these have yellow legs maybe it could be a cuckoo barred rock mix. As long as it lays eggs I don't care at this point with TSC selling me 7 roosters.
