My d'Uccle is very loud and very high-pitched. So is my Silkie. I think all roos are loud and it depends on the individual, as a general rule. Same thing with disposition, for the most part.
 
My asil rooster only crows in the morning before he gets fed and then he shuts up for the rest of the day but it may just his personality and not the breed
