What breed is Bernice?

Here she is. She's small, but I was told she's young (I don't know what that means, just that she isn't laying eggs yet - bear with me, I have just started by little flock two weeks ago and completely new to poultry).

I am not sure but she looks kind of like a silkie cross to me.

Do I see 5 toes in the picture? There are not many 5 toed breeds but Silkie is one of them.

I am far from an expert on chicken breeds but the crest, comb and 5 toes makes me believe that she is a Silkie X, but I have no idea with what

Maybe a Wynadotte.

She is a cutie!

She may be a Sebright crossed with a silkie. But she is not a pure silkie

She's a cute little silkie mix. You might want to start reading threads on managing broody hens now, before it becomes an issue. Silkies are notorious broodies
