Cochins are very docile as well single combed and extremely fluffy. Feathered legs. Another very large bird.

Sometimes the largest birds can struggle in the heat. So keep in mind how many extremely hot days you have a year.

Cochins possibly they are very sweet and alert.

Yes, mine always has to tell everyone when she has laid an egg. Lol she is very funny too and a good mother.

Oh and Dominique would be a good bird to research and try!

They're funny cute birds and quite smart. They also have a rose comb and are barred aka cuckoo as the barring isn't as crisp.

Personally I've only had heritage Dominique so hatchery nay be slightly different but I rreally love my Dom's sadly we just lost my last hen.
