Yep, Delawares have white earlobes and lay brown eggs...

Does that apply to every breed? Maybe there are exceptions

Maybe roos are different because they 'shouldn't' lay eggs

He or she is a Delaware. I am saying he or she because both my roos are that age and much more "rooish" in the comb.

I was thinking pullet as well. I have seen Delaware roos around that age that are more "rooish" looking as well.

ok, scratch all that I posted. I just saw some pics of a Delaware Rooster and thats what it looks like to me..

Well, I would love it to be a Delaware hen, that comb also looks a little rose combish to me. It's not a straight comb like all of the other chicks.

To me it's close but not quite the same as these:
