I'm very glad that it's a golden laced Wyandotte now if it's a male I have to chose between it and a male dark Cornish. It's going to be a hard choise if I have to do that.
Here's a top view of the two. If you look at the face of the mystery chick in other photo, it has a big white thing next to its beak. My barred rocks don't have that.
Thank you, I've come to accept this. I love him. He is the most gentle of all 18 chicks. I plan to keep him as a pet, and hope he continues to get along with the Welsummer cockerel that I'm also keeping. He's been having some leg and foot issues that I've been trying to help him with, and he's so easy going to let me doctor him. I've really gotten attached. Thanks again!
We got our chicks about five weeks ago. We got a free on with them, just trying to figure out what it is. I know that it is a rose comb and also it is not as feathered out as my other chicks. Any help would be great.
