What breed is my baby chick?

well whatever he or she is, they are the meanest little chick in the brooder. He or she is the smallest, yet goes around pecking at all the other chicks eyes. One chick I think is now blind, she can't open either eye and is now hiding from everyone. I have separated both the mystery chick, and my poor blind chick from each other and rest of brooder. Is there anything else I can do for blind chick or the aggressive one?

It sounds like they might be trying to figure out the pecking order. I would have give those little hurt chicks electrolytes.

The mystery chick is still being an eye pecker.. its almost like its totally different from pecking order though.. when i have tried to put the mystery chick back with all the others it gets pecked at some by the others, as if they all wonder who this new chick is... but after having a little water, it goes straight to searching out eyes to peck at. It jumps up at the bigger chicks grabbing their eyelids and just terrorizing the whole group. I gave them all electrolytes in their water. The one that had a bloody eye I had separated and put antibiotic ointment on its eye.. It was able to be moved back into the brooder after just a few hours, without incident. It has now been a couple days and maybe 4 attempts to reunite the eye pecker without any luck... When I had an aggressive chick last time in the brooder, it took only a short time of being separated from the group and it was acting perfectly once reunited... I am stumped with this little monster...

yes i have only ever used a red light for my chicks. More than enough room for them all to roam, also plenty of access to food and water..

I know it would be a hassle but would it be possible to just keep that one separated? Maybe with a stuffed animal or something?
that is what im doing right now. I will have to find a small stuffed animal to put in there to keep it company. I had never thought of it before, and felt bad even though hes a bully, he is so lonely.. My plan today was to make a new enclosure in the brooder for the eye pecker... one where he can see everyone but just not get to them. Right now i have him in a cardboard box in the brooder..

So its been a week and chickmunk, (our eye pecker) is still pecking at eyes, and not even just pecking, now when I reintroduced him he jumped up to grab they eyelid of another chick and just yanked on it till i was able to reach in and grab him. I am starting to give up on hope I can keep this chick... but who wants a mean eye pecker?

I found a tiny toy rooster today, just the size of my 1 week old chick. I did have stuffed animal in there with him, but its a bit large compared to the chick.. So first thing I did when i got home, was give my eye pecker his new friend. He sits right next to the toy and pecks at its eyes!
