What breed is my big boy?

O no he is the sweetest little thing takes care of his lady's and I don't know what you mean by more docile

Oh i meant basically what you described. Sweet and doesnt charge unless provoked. Also going a little of topic here, is it possible to train my rooster to be sweet? Because my family wants to eat him because of his agressiveness and i am basically the only one standing in the way of him in the dinner plate. I want to teach him to be less agressive before someone gets injured and we have to kill him.

Well you could show him who is boss by taking a broom or something out with you and when he comes at you just swat it at him it shows him that you are boss and not him keeping him away from you and your family and just do it for about a week and then just do it every once and a while to keep him in line

catch him and carry him around like a baby def. do it around his ladies he will get embarrassed----I had to do this to my RIR too, another thing I have tried is hazing either a boot in the tail feathers or they get chased around with my arms down low like the wing clipping "dragging their wing" they do it scares them enough to know that you won't back down they have to know you are the head.

Thanks for all the advice. Def trying later

yeah my hens don't like to be caught but when they do they are cuddly as are my roos, my one hen will jump on my back or shoulder and start preening my hair.

I onlu have one hen like this. Except she doesnt jump on my back(well she did do it once), which is a good thing cuz she is a really large hen
