This is my first year with chickens. I bought two Americanas, two red Rhode Islands, two White Leghorns, and one more that we don't know what she is. She was sold to us as an Americana, but we know she is not. I picked her because she was different than the other Americanas, she was yellow. Now she is white, but she is different from the other two White Leghorns. She has a bigger crown and she has green feet instead of yellow. Below are the pictures. We've had her for about four weeks and the white leghorn is a week younger, so three weeks, which is why they are so different in size.

The White Leghorn is on the right. The unknown is about a week older, but very different.

Again, the White Leghorn is on the right.

The White leghorn is on the bottom in this picture.

Thanks so much for your help! Looking forward to knowing what breed she is.

Your "americanas" are actually Easter Eggers - and your white bird is likely also an EE - they look different because they come in a wide variety of colors, patterns, etc....and there can be a vast difference in their appearance even as chicks.

It looks to be a beardless Easter egger, with how green it's legs are. Your other Americanas are most likely Easter eggers too...depending on where you got them from. And yes they can come in any color. :D but I would watch this one...cause the size of that comb and how red it is has me concerned that you may have a rooster!

But this is just my guess, I could be wrong! ;)

Chicks sold by feed stores as Ameraucanas are actually what's called Easter egger birds. They can come in any color, black to white and many patterns in between. Your larger white bird is an Easter egger cockerel. If you can't keep roosters you should start looking for a new home for him soon.
