What breed is my cockerel please

Hi all new to chickens from Wales, UK, looking for some information on what breed my cockerel is tried looking on Google can't determine what breed he is. Thanks in advance Ricky

Is he rumpless, or does he grow tail feathers which are just absent at the moment?

If he is rumpless, maybe a Manx rumpie cross. If he has a tail normally, then maybe a barred rock cross or black sex link cockerel.

I think you can call him a rooster now. Judging by that comb, plus his wattles and spurs, he is a mature bird. Looks like a he has some genetic hackle going on there.

Thanks for the reply. He was given to me in a bad way missing feathers but he normally has tail feathers.

So probably a barred rock or cross of that breed. Very cool of you to give him a new home. He'll probably look like a whole new rooster when his tail feathers grow back.
