I saw your post on bullfrogs. I have the tiniest frogs. They are climbing my brick on my house. We have toads that come up on the patio each night but now we have too many of these babies. They are brownish and can jump so far. They are tiny tiny frogs. Would they maybe be tree frogs? We live where there are few trees. We have had an abundance of rain this year. This land was farm land for at least a century or more. We bought it and we are developing a housing addition. I know these people are not thrilled about the "critters" we are having this year. I wonder if they are harmful to pets? I have a schnauzer that loves to chase and eat June Bugs and these frogs are smaller than the June Bugs. Thanks for your help.

@TooManyFrogs Newly metamorphosed froglets and toadlets are everywhere at this time of year. There will be way more than the environment can support; most will not make it to adulthood, In the meantime, the only thing that really will be impacted is your local bug population

Incidentally, we have several Green Tree Frogs that are permanently camped out in the shady side of our house. By day, they look like 2" long green bumps on the siding; they have their feet tucked under themselves to minimize moisture loss. At night, they hunt the bugs that are drawn to the light in the windows. Some are obviously males; we hear occasional outbursts of "wank, wank, wank!" all night long.

Thank you so much! It is amazing that we have not had them before and now we have SO many. They are everywhere like the patio, up the brick on the house, coming through my doggie door (I think maybe they are riding on with the dog). They are the smallest bullfrogs we have ever seen. I wonder how fast they will grow.

My son was mowing around his house, very early, today and found a massive amount. Oddly enough we are not close to a lake, pond, river, just had more rain than normal.
