So we are first time chicken raisers and LOVING it! We have 4 hens and we are stumped as to what breed out sweet girl L.J. is .....we were told she was an ameracauna, however as she’s aging I’m not convinced ! We wanted her because of the fact she would lay blue eggs! Any thoughts on her breed? The recent google search makes me think she maybe a legbar?! She’s 17 weeks old today and I also posted her pics at about 2-3 weeks old as well!

2 of My Easter Eggers have the same coloring as yours but have ear puffs. My friend has Easter Eggers that don’t have the puffs they lay pinkish tinge eggs (not the blue tinged)

She is an EE. Amercaunas are expensive. Feed stores label them Ameracauna or some spelling of it to get people that don’t know to purchase them. But EE,s do usually lay a colorful egg. Shades of green or blue. On occasion you will get one that lays a brown. She is a nice looking hen.
