What breed is my hen?

I bought his hen as a chick at Wilco. The brooder was marked Dominant Copper, but I’m pretty sure she’s not. Can anyone tell me what breed she is?

She is very pretty! Is she a sapphire gem? Just a guess, I have a similar one that is a sapphire gem, but she isn’t as old as yours.

I have to agree this one looks most like a Sapphire Gem. They lay large brown eggs.

I've had sapphire gems, and their faces were not black. They also had bluer feathers.

That is true, and eyes not so dark..

Their colors can vary as they are a hybrid and they can be very light blue all the way to very dark blue. All blue birds can have darker faces. Not saying it’s a sapphire gem 100% but it definitely looks like one to me

Here’s my sapphire. Similar. But I’m bad with chicken breeds, so I wouldn’t know much difference.

If the soles of her feet are white then she could be a Blue Australorp.
