Does that mean she will be big? From what I understand "bantam" means smaller and then there's the classification of "large" which is just what it sounds like.

Bantams are often referred to as "minature" chickens. Some have standard sized breeds, others do not. Production Reds are not really a "breed", per say, but a mixture of pure and/or hybrid of any dual-purpose, red-feathered, and brown-egg laying breed, such as hatchery New Hampshires, hatchery Rhode Island Reds, Red Sex-Links, etc. So yes, yours will be standard-sized.Does that mean she will be big?
