What breed is my new free Rooster?

He's three months old is all the info I got with him. He was an ordered chick but my mom (who got him for me from her boss) didn't think to ask his breed. He was going to be butchered because he was pooping on a saddle constantly. LOL.

I named him Wilber and just am curious what breed ya'll think he is and how big he may get...because for 3 months id' say he's a pretty big boy. He's atleast heavy. I mean he's not HUUUGE but what im saying is i dont *think* he's a bantam.

I think your bird looks a bit like Ike, but may be a DARK SCBL.

I'm gonna vote Dark Brown Leghorn, too. The white earlobes tend to limit the number of breeds he could be.

Have you ever actually seen a Dark Brown Leghorn?
The bird pictured is a hatchery bred, juvenile Light Brown Leghorn. The adult bird posted by keljonma is rightly identifiedas a Light Brown Leghorn.
