What breed is my rooster?

That is a very beautiful chicken. Such remarkable marking and exquisite detail. I also agree it may be a bantam. I'm thinking mixed breed. He's not a Red, they're a solid mahogany color without that black. His color isn't the same as a Wellie, but pretty close. The wing set is all wrong, though, he has these downswept wings where Wellies have higher, more horizontal wings. He's also got a very short back.

This is a welsummer bantam. The one in question is almost identical thats because its a bantam.
 
I guess that could explain the difference in wing set and back length. The color's still not quite right, although I guess it could be a hatchery quality issue.
