What breed is my rooster?

I purchased him about three years ago from a local ag center. I only chose out of the well known breed bins (buff orpington, barred rock, rhode island red), but he doesn't seem like any of those breeds. I am sure he was mixed in with the wrong chicks. Anyway, I love him to death, but I am trying to give away some of his rooster offspring, and so many people want to know "What breed are they??"... mom is one of the above mentioned, but they look nothing like dad, and I have no clue what he is! He is standing pretty tall here, but he is much smaller than the hens, and has extremely feather feet and hind quarters!
Any thoughts?

He looks like my Buff Orpington roos. Kinda hard to say for sure since the sun is making him look a little red.

I thought that at first as well, but as I said, his feet are extremely feathery, which is not a buff orpington trait. Here is another photo of him that shows his feet a little better. And again, he is quite small.

He doesn't look as boxy as a cochin, maybe he is mixed

Hatchery quality buff Cochin rooster.

He's actually a lot typier than my barred Cochin boys, they have very pointy tails
