What breed is my rooster?!

I have a flock of 15 hens. Today I bought a mature rooster off of Craigslist. They claim he is a lavender Orpington but I’m not convinced. Does anyone know what breed he is? Or is he a mix?

Perhaps a lavendar orpington cross - check his legs. Does he have scaly leg mites ?

Hi,

I'm not sure on the breed, but just wanted to share:

1. Make sure you quarantine him away from the rest of the flock for at least a month, because he might have some hidden diseases that he could spread to your current flock. He looks sort of "scraggly".... But I'm sure you'll fix him up in no time! You never can tell with chickens from Craigslist....

UPDATE: He is just a barnyard mix. The guy I got him text me and said his son (who is the one who met me) grabbed the wrong bird by mistake. I’m switching him out tomorrow for the lavender roo. Now for a follow up question: does anyone know what the chicks would look like if I crossed a lavender and buff Orpington?
