What Breed Is My Rooster?

This is Rocky. I received him from a neighbor at three months old, and he is currently a bit over a year. They didn’t say what breed he was or anything about where he came from or his parents. I assumed that he was a Barred Rock, but now I am second-guessing my assumptions. His barring doesn’t seem to match the pictures I’ve found on the internet, and of course, the orange color that bleeds into his feathers also throws me off. Any advice is welcome. Thank you all!

Also, I understand that he could very well be a backyard mix and that he may not be just one breed, but multiple.

I’ve searched google for several pictures of Black Sex Link roosters, and he seems to match the appearance! Thank you for the replies.
