What breed is my rooster?

Hi all, I got this guy at a local swap and the farmer who sold him to me said he was RIR, about a year old. I posted him in a local chicken group and got jumped by folks insisting he's not RIR but unable to tell me what he actually is. I'm told he's too skinny and they don't like his comb. The answer doesn't matter to me beyond intellectual curiosity-- and guesses what I have?

He's a mix. He does look to have some RIR in him, also possibly some Malay.

He definitely looks like he has some gamefowl in him, and that's where he gets the lean body type. The comb...I can't tell if it's pea or single, but that would also provide clues as to what breeds he is.
