What Breed is my young rooster?

The black and white one is the rooster, and the the light colored one is a full sister (least I’m pretty sure she’s a pullet). They’re 17 weeks old. Both seem pretty mature and a little bigger than others have been at their age.

He looks like a mixed breed cockerel. Is she his true genetic sister?

Incidentally, until they're a year old, he'd be a cockerel and she'd be a pullet. Following that, a rooster and a hen.

Yes, both out of eggs from the same hen and same rooster as one another, and thank you for the reminder, if you couldn’t already tell I’m very new at chicken keeping. I didn’t even know what a pullet or a cockerel either one was till I started visiting this forum. The depth of knowledge on here is a wonderful thing to have such ready access to. Thank you for responses so far.

I know my chickens are really just some type of yard mutts but they’re so neat I can’t help but want to find out all I can about each one of them. Thank you for the quick responses so far and for humoring my little obsession with these guys and their possible roots.
