This is a hatchery bird and I know you can't expect them to be show qualityNo, I'd still guess he's supposed to be Silver Duckwing in color--but may have some red leakage. I can't see any signs of red in the pictures you provided, so I'm not certain though. I have both Golden Phoenix and Black Breasted Red right now that are around five weeks old--the hackle feathers come in golden or red, they don't seem to start Silver Duckwing and then redden up. Young BBR Cockerel:Young Golden Phoenix cockerel--sorry the red light of the lamp makes it hard to see, but the hackle feathers are indeed golden:
