What breed is our mystery chicken?

Hello,

We bought a few chicks from TSC last week, all were supposed to be barred rock. We got home & discovered one was definitely not a barred rock. When we went back to ask what other breed was in the same pen and were told silver laced Wyandotte (but they didn’t really seem very confident). We have a SLW and she doesn’t look quite like her. Any thought on what she/he might be?

She has classic chipmunk patterning, but her wing feathers appear to be coming in speckled, and her face seems a little too striped/patterned to be a Wyandotte.

My vote is on Sussex. They all look a little different. I got 30 Sussex and 5 SLW last year. Here they are together. It’s very obvious which 5 are the Wyandottes. And the second picture are two chicks that hatched last month. The one on left is a Sussex. On the right is RIR and Sussex.

We have one of them too! TSC here too! Mystery chick. But we got ours from the Bantam bin.
