Oh yeah, she lays white eggs and she’s very consistent, she never disappoints. And she does have a nice pair of spurs on her.
Leg color, comb type, earlobes, and egg color all match up with Golden Spangled Hamburg.....however, her pattern is quite off. Very little spangling, making me lean more towards mix. Gorgeous, though.
Do you remember if the hatching eggs were from a fellow poultry enthusiast's flock, hatchery, or a breeder?

I had the silver spangled variety. The spangling improved over time.
They are a fun breed.
I am ordering a few more this year......If I can sneak them by hubby.![]()
I think she's pretty, good spangles or not.
I have a silver laced bantam cochin whose markings are so bad she is called Smudgie. She is sweet whether she is pretty or not.
