What breed is she?

She was a bonus chick w/some orpingtons and australorps. She lays a nice sized cream colored egg almost daily. As you can see, she loves the camera! Any ideas?

Where did you get her? Giving us the hatchery will help us narrow it down.

I have no idea, we bought her from someone who hatched eggs from the hatchery.
She is a very nice calm bird though...

Well, she's not any breed. That is she doesn't meet any breed Standard. She's a production red.

These red birds often are super friendly, precocious and lay up a storm.

She looks kind of like a RIR that got mixed in with my EEs last year. Surprising, because she's very calm and fairly friendly and I thought RIRs weren't supposed to be calm. But then mine is a more solid color and lays a brown egg. Maybe yours is an unusual EE?

Thanks everyone...one more shot of her! I don't think she is an EE....her eggs are straight cream colored, just a touch lighter than the orpington eggs.

Well, I take back my production red statement from earlier.

This photo an entirely fresh look to her!!!!. My guess is that she is a hatchery (not to standard) version of one of the Continental breeds.
