speckledhen--I didn't know that about the welsummers sprouting feathered legs--cool! If that's true, that's my guess. I was trying to fit a leghorn/cochin cross, but just not seeing it! I also don't see ee. I was also trying to fit a game hen, but she doesn't look that small. Do any games have feathered legs and that coloring?

Shes only got a couple of small feathers. And I dont breed my chickens and sell them aways.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean that towards you, just welsummer info in general.
I do think your girl has welsummer in her, but I think she's a cross, not pure. (which is where her feathers on her shanks may come in)
