Hi there! Thought I’d consult the hive mind about my 4mo old girl Babs. She was listed as a speckled sussex as a chick, but I think that’s pretty suspect.
I thought for a while she might be a rooster, too, but though she has narrow pointed hackle feathers her comb and wattle are pretty nonexistent and her saddle feathers are fairly hennish.
Also fyi she has willow green legs if you can’t tell in the photo.
Let me know what you think!

Def a Female Easter Egger. My neighbors have on that is almost identical to yours. Did you buy any others from the same batch? It's common for EE to have green legs too. They are great birds. I am getting myself 6 of this breed next month because I like them so much.

No other EE’s, but her adopted sisters include a sicilian buttercup (Angus), a russian orloff (Ginger), a sapphire barred rock (Florence), a BLRW (Jolene) and 2 silkie bantams (Dollifer and Polliwog). Babs is so affectionate, def going to look for more EE’s in future.
(here she is with Florence + Jolene a few months back)
