Hi,
This little one is Hermione. I got her from TSC almost 2 weeks ago. I have no clue as to breed or gender. I am saying she but really don't know. I think it is too early to tell gender yet. The first photo was taken the day we got her. The next ones were taken today.* NEW PHOTOS TAKEN 5/04/12 Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

straight comb cochin
pea comb brahma

i have a brahma that i thought was a cochin at first until i parted the feathers around its comb for a better look...kinda looks like mine and i think mines a mottled cochin (wont know until it feathers out more)

Here are some updated photos of my little Brahma..... I think it's a Roo and would love it if someone would give me their two cents on the matter. He looks so silly because the feathering is coming in so slow and sparse..... What color is he? Would he be considered a Light Brahma? What a lively little bugger he is and very hard to keep still!

Thanks guys!

He is almost 5 weeks in the new set of pictures I took today. The first set he was about 2 weeks old.

I said rooster to myself when I saw the first picture of him standing tall, I could practically hear him crowing. Brahmas rock! My favorite standard hen is a Brahma. She walks up looks at me and freezes. I have to reach down and scratch her cheeks and play with her wattles before she reanimates . We might be soul mates.
He's a light Brahma, very handsome!

Looking like a super sexy Light Brahma Roo! Brahmas are known for being docile and HUGE. Brahma roosters can top out at 14 lbs, so it's probably best to keep him on your good side...
