The coloring is very similar, I am sure your guy is a game of some sort but not sure as to breed. I would try the game thread, they are really great with ID's. Your bird is really handsome!!

This morning when he came over (he sleeps next door when our girls go in their coup) he brought over a different looking hen with him. She left as soon as I let my girls out of the coup. She looked just like the hen on this page:

Actually the neighbor said someone dropped them off (he has 3 like that at his house).
