you couldn't go wrong with calling her ee, just realize some might 'protest' because no beard/muffs and her almost lacing is not common in the typical ee stock.
that roo looks just like what youd expect out of a dark cornish cross. now am wondering if your hen is like 3/4 dark cornish....
he is confusing, some traits point to RIR but some things are confusing like his breast is too dark for a pure rir cross and his legs seem white(?) white legs cannot happen out of rir and your hen, they would have yellow legs for sure. if his legs were clearly white, then it would point to marans- basically white leg is dominant over yellow so if you cross them, the offspring would have white legs.
forgot marans have feathered legs, if the marans roo had good leg feathering, that makes it less likely he's the father. leg feathering is basically dominant but very variable in how it shows up in crosses. rarely are they so clean legged though. are you sure the rir was pure.? if he was a rir cross then he would be perfect candidate for father...
would be best to call him a mix, as the gene that makes blue or green eggs is closely linked to pea comb(what your hen has), this roo has single comb and will not produce colored egg daughters unless bred to ee.
if you want more colored egg layers, keep the birds with pea combs.
