What breed is this chick?

I am starting to think that the brown chick is my Easter Egger, and the one “marked” as Easter Egger is really my legbar. (Requested her to be marked as to not mix up with the Legbar and Bielefelder, go figure!) She has the distinct chipmunk stripe. Either way, as long as they are all pullets, I don’t care. I will keep everyone posted as they grow and start to feather in!

So, I must say Mt Healthy customer service is top notch! I called yesterday to see if they could help me ID those two. I also have an Americana that I asked to be marked, and she looks like the two of them also. The box said green, but she was marked with purple, so I wanted to make sure she wasn’t the legbar or Bielefelder either.

The woman on the line had me text pics to her while I was on the phone with her, asked another person to confirm what she thought, and then told me. How awesome is that?

The top pic is the Bielefelder, the second one is the Legbar. The Americana was marked, just the wrong color. I was honestly shocked they went out of their way to help me like that. We are splitting our order with a friend at 4 weeks, and I did pay more for the Legbar and Bielefelder, so I wanted to make sure I knew which ones they were.

The Legbar is soooooo sweet and cuddly. She is my girl. And the Bielefelder has been claimed by my son (we “claim” our favorites to name them, lol).

That is great news and Yes great service these days. Glad you know who is who now. I adore our Biels, they are the most docile chickens you will ever have, they love to come inside and just sit in your lap and watch TV, they are the first that greet you at the coop door and make the cutest little sounds, nothing like any other breed I've owned. Enjoy the little ones!

This is so funny, I just realized that while I ordered 9 bielefelders, hoovers sent 8 Biels and 1 cream legbar . Made me think of you, I didn't even notice it was different when it was a chick.
