What breed is this dog terrier right

Hi i neex to know the breed of this dog the owner says it's a Chihuahua but I know that it's not I haveone and it looks nothing like one I'm thinking terrier but I'm not sure if it's mixed or not I'm not sure how old he is but his last owners named him bud and also he only knows how to potty on a pee pee pad any ideas on how to get him to go out side thanks

This looks like a Pit bull Chihuahua mix, though how something like that would happen, I don't know. Though they are both popular breeds with the Hispanic population and the dog pounds are full of both... Oh, and take the used pee pee pad outside and praise/reward profusely for the appropriate response...
