you misunderstood me. i said it mine have the same color legs as my black sex links. i have some that are three and a half months old. i also have one that looks just like that but pea comb and green legs that is older and lays green eggs. if my young ones had green legs i would think that they were ee. but the don't they have the same color as my black sex links. sorry for the confusion. i was just using them for the leg color example.

These are Black Rock hens. I think they look pretty similar to your hen....!

It may not be a black sex link, but they do come in that color.
I have several, all hatched from the same hen.
There are a few black and a few that look exactly like your picture. Lots of reddish gold coloring.
I have seen many that look like that as well.

Okay, I'm thinking she is an Easter Egger. I remembered giving my neighbors quite a few EE pullet chicks earlier this year. I gave my aunt some, too from the same hatchery. Hers lay brown eggs as well.

My girls seem to remember the picture here, 3rd from bottom, including the dark legs.

ETA: Two have rose combs and one has a single comb. They're exactly alike otherwise and the other EE's I have from the same bunch I got (same hatchery order) have the same color legs.
