what breed is this hen, is it a bantam? Comb pics added 5/27/09

Hen has whitish legs with what i thought was a rose comb but seems to have points comming out but i will make sure tomorrow
this hen was born a week before valentines day, im just not sure if she is a stantard or a bantam, as she just might look small because she is in with my duck and rooster, they make her look small lol again she was born 1 week before valentines making her almost 15 1/2 weeks old

here you can see her in the back, the duck was born 1 day after her on valentines and the rooster was born back in november

What kind of comb does she have? Her type doesnt look very maranish to me, it reminds me more of a leghorn or something but not a maran or rock really.

She is way to light built to be a maran or a rock.

ok i was just taking a guess on the maran part as she has white leggs just alot of black on them, i thought she had a rosecomb but it seems to be getting spiky im not 100 % but i will check for sure tomorrow a si am at work right now

Well this is a real puzzler. Did you buy the eggs from a breeder or what? She sure is pretty though.

this came from a guy with about 60 chickens in amixed back yard flock, so i know its prob not pure, but is white legs dominant over yellow legs?

Well its a rosecomb. Hmm, since she is barred we know the father was atleast barred. One of the parents or both had a rose comb. Yes white legs are dominant but hers look more white to me with shading. What color are the bottoms of her feet? She could have yellow legs but they are bleached out.

i believe the bottoms are white, i guess i will wait till she lays an egg to see if it is really dark or not, if she was hatched feb 7 how long till she is ready to lay her first egg also does she look small for her age or is this around the size a standard is at around 3 months?
