What breed is this hen?

I’m getting a new hen from a friend. All they told me was that it was a ‘game hen’, but about a year old. I have no idea what breed this is but is definitely not a broiler or meat bird. Sorry the pictures are not the best.

I was told game hen. The hen lays brown eggs. I was thinking maybe American game hen? What is defined as a ‘game hen?’

I wasn’t sure if that would be interpreted as a breed characteristic since she doesn’t really have a tail, so I was clarifying

Oh no, I didn't interpret that into a breed characteristic.
From your first pic it looks like the red hen is about to add to her feather lose. Might watch for that.
