I have to ask... What happened to those chickens? Are they molting? How do they not freeze?

They have been in battery cages so other hens pull their feathers out and rubbing up against the wie caged rips them off. When i them ones it was in summer so i didnt worry but you can get hen jumpers for bald ones

yes i aggree with john they have been pulled out by the other hens and themselves out of bordem, i got my hens at the end of summer so when the snow came i cut some holes in some thick socks, streched them a bit and let them wear the socks. we got them more than a year ago and one has only just started to feather up, mellon now has wing and one tail feather,
