What breed is this little bantam? Boy or girl?

Barred has cleaner defined lines. Cuckoo is like barred but a bit smudgy. I have a cuckoo Polish. I'm not sure about OEGB specifically, but a quick search says crele has a brownish head with the cuckoo body. But I'm no expert!

Thank you, Chicalina! He definitely does have a brownish head. I didn't notice that difference when I first looked at the cuckoo photos. Looking forward to seeing all of that dramatic plumage show up as he matures!

It's exciting isn't it, seeing how they turn out when they start to feather up!!

I'm currently trying to work out the parentage of my chicks. It's a puzzle for sure.
