We call her tiny cos she is the smallest chicken we've ever hatched! We ordered hatching eggs of a variety of breeds so not sure, i thought maybe serama but she has a different stance I think... Anyway any suggestions would be appreciated! She is 10 months old and lays regularly she has also been a very good mother! Her little yellow legs are really short too. Thanks for looking :) Karen

could she be a japanese bantam? So pretty!
Her legs are really long to be a Japanese Bantam, and her stance is not right. I'd say she is closer to a Serama.
All these bantams breeds look very similar to me

Here is a white Japanese Bantam

I am no expert either. I do actually have 2 japanese bantams and one serama, and one of my japanese bantams has longer legs than the other, which i believe is just a bad standard (but helps them in winter!). That said, the serama really only looks like a smaller version of the japanese bantys to me..!

Wow thanks to all who replied the pics are very helpful :) based on the photos I think I'll go with Serama! The Serama roosters just seem to stand so much more erect lol but well see what we get after breeding!

Thanks Again!

Remember that the SQ seramas stand that way. Breeders just doing it for fun, and not for show - won't have the seramas you are picturing. Same goes with all breeds. There are far more birds that don't meet the standard, than birds that do.
