What breed is this monster??

I’m just glad to know it’s not a meat bird or something lol that was my fear. It’s hard to get a good picture but it really is MUCH bigger than the others.
They don’t have a list on that pack that I could find. I don’t care really what breed, just wanted to make sure it’s not Cornish or something because I know they can have problems lol I’m good with any other breed :)

She could just be older. Rainbow layers kind of sounds the same as an Easter Egger to me, though I'm not up to date on my cross breeds. She doesn't appear to have a beard or muffs, though. All this talk of leghorns- they don't lay colored eggs. Here's a list of ones that do, and are offered by Myer's~
  • Easter Egger
  • Olive Eggers
  • Ameraucana
  • Legbar
  • "Lakeshore Eggers"

I'm going to take a wild guess and just say that she's older than the rest. When you bought her, did you notice a larger one?

To me, she looks like a Splash pattern with that random dark patch on her. So it could be a bluexblue cross, but I could be wrong. I'm going to put my guess in the Guess Box as Frost Legbar, and that she will lay light blue eggs.

Rainbow layers refers to the chick colors not the breed itself at all. Rainbow of colors in the bin and eventually the coop. Typically they are Buff Orpingtons, Black Australorps, Easter Eggers, Barred Rocks, White Rocks, and Rhode Island or Production Reds. It makes for a pretty bin of chicks.

The description says “Not only will you receive a rainbow of all female day old baby chicks, but the eggs these pullets will grow to produce are sure to amaze your friends and neighbors. This assortment was created for customers who like variety and includes some of our more popular chicks.
Day old baby chicks can range from our heavy brown egg layers, white egg layers, tinted egg layers, rare and fancy breeds, or any combination of female chickens that we offer. We will make every effort to include as many different colors and varieties of chickens as possible, but guarantee a minimum of five (5) different varieties. Different colors of the same breed will be counted as separate varieties.”
So different color chickens as well as eggs it says

And yes it’s just strange. She’s growing much faster. Wasn’t a noticeably big one when I got them but she’s grown tremendously. In the pics you can see my hand doesn’t even fit around her body and she’s only 2 weeks old. I have normal size hands lol.
I’m out of town now but tomorrow I’ll try to get better pictures and maybe one of her and another chick that better shows her size

Could it be that the rainbow lot is just a batch of anybody's guess results of mixed breed hens crossed with multiple roosters possibly also mixed, possibly including genetics for meat birds as well as layers?
