Yeah your right. I responded to it sitting down so I didn't see the legs. It kind of looks like a Chipmunk Easter Egger I used to have.

it doesn't look like a wyandotte in any shape form or fashion even when sitting.

it could be a single combed beardless ee but to have those 2 traits in one bird from a hatchery is kinda awkward....do you have any clearer pics of her the lighting in the 2nd pic makes her hard to see?

I wonder black sex link with unusual amount of brown? That happens sometimes.

Or it's a cross, perhaps a bird got mixed up in the wrong pen for a bit somehow.

What color was her chick down? if black, I'd guess black sex link.
