So, all I know is that, they are called Hmong chicken. The Hmong are tribal mountain people from SE Asia. According to the person I got my pair from said, the Hmong brought them as snuck in eggs from SE Asia when they first immigrated to the USA in the 1970's. So are these some kind of junglefowl mutation or landrace/native fibromelanostic chicken from SE Asia? Note, the male's comb isn't fully form yet, as it ages, the comb will be quite large like a leghorn has. The female's comb remains about the same size, except when she is going to lay eggs. But this is a young pair about 6-7 months and the females hasn't started laying yet nor has the male even crow either. Though that might have to do with the fact that they are with a mature silkie rooster as the alpha leader in the pen.
