its a female it laid eggs before i had itI have only seen pictures of Dragoons and I concur it has a resemblance, however I have seen homers with that kind of face also.... some good ones although they were blue bars and blue checks. ..... It looks more homer than dragoon to me, but I have no experience with Dragoons. It looks like a cockbird to me, the one behind it looks like a hen.
I think you are right that's a sharp eye you have! Found this photo of some dewlaps on fb.It looks like a cross between a dewlap and something else. I can see a dewlap on the bird, and some feathers on the feet, and a short beak. It looks like a dewlap mated with some smaller type bird.
